Kotobuki is a furniture design company creating public spaces that everyone can enjoy. With the pursuit of nurturing the next generation in mind, KOKO was born. Utilizing data to celebrate and deepen learning, KOKO aimed to understand how kids interact with one another, ultimately quantifying this data in a visual way. Using the data, their goal was to create play spaces for kids that encourage interaction and communication.

With this new off-shoot of Kotobuki, came the need for a brand that celebrates how children create: optimistic, innocent, and a little bit messy. We sought to echo their play spaces through a brand unified in playful and sophisticated color and form.
